The real estate community and all who knew Lorri McKean are mourning the profound loss of a truly exceptional individual. Lorri, a dedicated Realtor with the Gold Group at Nebraska Realty/Embarc Realty, was far more than her professional title; she was a cornerstone of support and inspiration.

Lorri was the kind of person who believed in us—especially on the days we questioned ourselves. She guided with patience, challenged with purpose, and supported with unwavering loyalty. Her leadership was never about titles or recognition; it was about lifting others up, creating space for everyone to grow, and ensuring no one ever felt alone on the journey.

As a mentor, she gave wisdom we will carry for a lifetime. As a friend, she brought laughter, understanding, and a sense of belonging to every room. As a leader, she modeled true strength and compassion. A proud member of the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® and a graduate of the Randall School of Real Estate, Lorri’s expertise was matched only by her genuine care for people.

Originally from Ralston and a resident of Papillion, she was a devoted part of the Nebraska community. She was a former business owner, a student of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a loving wife to David. Lorri McKean’s legacy is not just in the homes she sold, but in the countless lives she lifted and the indelible mark of kindness she left on all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed.
