Durham, NC – The Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Deborah Jolly, a cherished alumna and longtime member of the Durham Alumni Chapter of SAU. Ms. Jolly, who graduated in 1981, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 66.
A beloved figure within the SAU community, Deborah was known for her unwavering commitment to her alma mater and her deep connection to the university’s legacy. Her passing has left a profound impact on the many lives she touched, both as an alumna and as a devoted member of the Durham Alumni Chapter.
Ms. Jolly was laid to rest today at First Calvary Church in Durham, North Carolina, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will hold her memory close, finding comfort in the many years she dedicated to enriching the lives of those around her.
